It's late at night and you're hungry. While McDonald's and Hungry Jack's are not entirely your kind of food in the middle of the night, you might just want to give The Original Pancake Kitchen (a.k.a The Pancake House) a try.

After a night of vigorous and wobbly ice-skating, we decided to pay The Pancake House a visit to pamper ourselves and compensate for the blisters and bruises. Tonight is definitely not my the first time being there as The Pancake House has been one of my favourite lunch, afternoon tea and dinner spots.

Strawberry Sweet Sensation [Top] and Chocolate Sweet Sensation [Bottom]

As the name of the eatery has already stated, the food served are mostly pancake-based. Some people would have thought, "Why would people come to all the way here to eat PANCAKES? We could have just make our own back home!" or even "How is it possible to run a shop based only on flour and sugar?"

My personal all time favourite - The German Feast

Well, of course The Pancake House doesn't only serve pancakes alone. They have steaks, schnitzels, salads and more. The pancakes they serve are of many variety of toppings and side dishes. The meal portion is considerably big as it is sufficient to fill my well-known "bottomless-pit".

Egg Benedict

However, the prices for the meals served are slightly higher compared to some other places where a meal would cost you around or even less than $10 and most uni-students like us, living under a budget usually could not afford to dine there in a regular basis. But still, in my opinion, it's definitely worth the money with the quality and portion of the food they serve and it is definitely a good spot to give yourself a treat once in awhile.
